Bar Mount Options for Luxon Gen3 Triple Clamps

We offer multiple bar mount options for our Gen3 triple clamps. Read below to find out which of these option is right for you:

General Notes:

Stock bar mounts do not fit Luxon Gen3 triple clamps
All bar mount options are sold as the standard 1 1/8" bar size (nearly all handlebars currently on the market).

If you need the FB36 size, please select triple clamps with the "no bar mounts" option, and add the 4-Post bar mount separately from here.

Bolts provided with the bar mounts match the bolts of the triple clamps. Bar mounts on the Gen3 Pro triple clamp pages come with titanium bolts, and bar mounts on the Gen3 Standard pages come with steel bolts.

No Bar Mounts - M12 Interface

If you already have a compatible bar mount you wish to use, choose not to include bar mounts with your triple clamp order. Note that stock bar mounts do NOT fit. The Luxon Gen3 clamps use an M12 mounting interface; this mounting uses M12 X 1.75 bolts with mounts that locate in a 26 mm wide groove, 2.5 mm deep. The bar mounts are spaced 90 mm apart.

The M12 interface is compatible with all Luxon M12 mounts as well as most Xtrig bar mounts (that fit Xtrig clamps, not stock clamps) and some aftermarket mounts. Not sure if your mount fits? Contact the bar mount manufacturer to check.

Nexus Bar Mounts

Nexus bar mounts are our premium option and the ultimate, comfort oriented, high-performance bar mount. Nexus is the choice for maximum comfort and works great for motocross, off-road, and enduro riding. Vet riders, and riders with wrist or hand injuries will especially appreciate the extra shock and vibration absorption they provide. Nexus provides night and day better comfort than other mounts, yet maintains good steering precision.

Nexus mounts fully isolate the handlebars from the clamps with large rubber bushings (three stiffness options are included for tuning), resulting in a dramatic reduction in track/trail shock and vibration transmitted to the rider. Nexus mounts won't twist in tip-overs and crashes and are very resistant to crash damage.

4-Post Bar Mounts

The four-post mount is our mid-range bar mount option. Four-post bar mounts are low-profile and lightweight with a unique design that eliminates twisting in tip-overs. These mounts are recommended for riders who want a similar feel to stock rubber mounts with increased steering precision. 4-Post mounts isolate the handlebars from the clamps with four sets of rubber bushings, resulting in a much more comfortable ride than our solid bar mounts.

Despite being separate left and right mounts, Luxon 4-Post bar mounts can not twist up in tip-overs and crashes due to the 4-post design. Medium (yellow) bushings feel similar to stock rubber-mounted bar mounts; soft, medium, and firm bushings are included for fine tuning the feel to your liking.

Solid Bar Mounts

Solid bar mounts bolt the handlebar directly to the triple clamp. These mounts offer the best connection to the front wheel for maximum precision, but that comes at the expense of comfort. Shock and vibration are transmitted through the bar mounts to the rider's hands as there are no rubber dampers in this mount.

Solid mounts are incredibly strong and very robust in a crash situation. These are recommended for professional level Supercross and Arenacross riders, who don't mind the loss of comfort to gain maximum precision and crash robustness.

Bar Riser Kit

Bar height is personal preference. Our bar mount riser kit fits all Luxon M12 bar mounts and allows additional heights of +5 mm, +10 mm, and +15 mm.

Luxon Solid and 4-Post bar mounts are 21 mm tall from the top of the triple clamp to the bottom of the handlebar. This is about 5 mm lower than most stock bar mounts, so you may prefer to include a riser kit if you like the stock bar height, want to go even higher, or need clearance for a Precision Parabolic steering damper or similar.

Nexus bar mounts are 26 mm tall from the top of the triple clamp to the bottom of the handlebar. This is similar to most stock mounts, though the riser kit can be used for those that want a taller bar position.
