Our commitment to
USA Quality
From the initial design and engineering, through manufacturing, finishing, and testing, we utilize United States resources wherever reasonably possible. We only employ US citizens, engineer and design entirely in-house, machine our products from US sourced materials in-house, utilize US based outside services, and even source USA made packaging materials.
Not everything can be 100% US sourced and some assemblies may contain small parts from foreign sources. The end product is primarily USA sourced, though, and we comply with the Made in USA Standard.
We've created this page in the interest of transparency, to detail where our products and services come from, so you know their origins and our commitment to quality.

Raw Materials
Domestic Aluminum
The vast majority of the aluminum we buy is domestic sourced. In the rare occasion the material we need is not available from a US manufacturer, we source DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement) compliant material. To be compliant, the metal must be melted in the United States or a qualifying country (one of the US allies) such as members of NATO, Japan, Australia, etc.

Manufacturing
In-House Machining, Local Outsourcing
We make all of our machined aluminum components in-house, in our San Diego location. Nothing is outsourced and we have full control of the process and resulting quality. This includes our triple clamps, steering stems, stem nuts, bar mounts, linkages, bolt-on pieces, etc. If it's machined from aluminum, we make it here!
There are some things we don't manufacture in-house, but we do source them locally. For example, the custom bushings in our 4-Post and Nexus bar mounts are injection molded just 45 minutes North of us in Fallbrook, California.

Finishing Touches
Deburring, Anodize, Laser Etching
All deburring and tumbling operations are performed in-house. The anodize process requires specialized chemicals and equipment. We outsource those services to a few trusted US companies. All our standard anodize and related operations (stripping, bright-dip, etc.) are done in California and Oregon.
Laser etching on our parts for logos, part numbers, torque marking, etc. is done in-house with our fiber laser system and we even offer custom laser etching for our customers.

Small Parts
Off-the-Shelf Components
To ensure fitment and quality, all of our bearings and seals are OEM or OEM equivalent (the exact same SKF bearing, just not in a KTM box). Because of that, we are at the mercy of where the OEMs make their parts.
Typically, OEMs source from countries highly regarded for quality such as Japan or Germany. Occasionally, some are sourced from China. We have not found any issue with the quality of those components, though. Countries of origin for off-the-shelf components used in our products include:
Bearings: Major name brands such as Koyo, NTN, and SKF. They are typically made in Japan or Germany; SKF steering bearings are usually made in Brazil.
Bolts: Our bolts are made worldwide, but adhere to strict quality standards. Bolts may come from USA, Germany, Belgium, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Italy.
O-rings, Seals, Other Hardware: These products are of the highest quality, but made worldwide. They are typically sourced from the USA, Vietnam, Taiwan, India, Ireland, China, and Germany.
Marketing materials, packaging, etc. While some packaging ziploc bags may come from foreign sources, the majority of the packaging used to ship our products is of US origin, particularly our triple clamp boxes, protective foam, and the protective netting used around the clamps.
